Vorsicht vor Startalents?
Hallo Zusammen!
Über eine Fotoplattform (fotocommunity) habe ich eine Email von Startalents bekommen, dass sie mich gerne buchen würden. Nun erschien mir dieses Angebot fast zu verlockend um wahr zu sein, also habe ich ein wenig gegoogelt. Ich fand diverse Berichte, wo vor dieser Firma gewarnt wurde, da man vorher 200 Dollar bezahlen solle, als sogenanntes "set up fee". Genau diese Mail habe ich auch erhalten.
Wenn ihr Erfahrungen mit dieser Firma gemacht habt, schreibt doch ein Kommentar in diesen Thread. Wie auf der Seite in diesem Bericht zu lesen ist: Adriana Ferrer & Sergio Núñez , gibt es in dieser Branche auch immer wieder "Schwarze Schafe" . Dies hat mich hellhörig gemacht. Ich würde mich über eine Antwort von euch freuen.
Hier die 2. Mail von Startalents:
"About the Job You will be modeling for CHANEL new Fragrance and clothing, types of clothes are jeans and jackets and Fragrance.
Our client is currently offering few models worldwide range opportunity, selected randomly to promotes its goods and services. You have been selected and accept my congratulations in advance, here are what is expected by you to do. You have 6 Different fashion outfits to cover, please note all this are casual no any form of nudity, on completion your pictures would be used for various means of public advertisements such as various posters, billboards, store fliers, and many more means of promotional advertisements.
Our Client for this fashion project is CHANEL CLOTHING The duration for the shoot is 3 days, this runs from 29th TO 31st OCTOBER 2010 This is an international project, the location would be in ROCHESTER, NEW YORK UNITED STATES. Total Wages/Rewards you shall be receiving is $4000.00 for the 3days. And you shall be shooting for 4 Hours/Day If you are in Europe, Australia, New - Zealand and you receive this letter, do not worry about the distance as our client would pay all your expenses, both land transportation and air, including your hotels accommodation for the duration of the shoot. Always remember you are beautiful and perfect for the project no matter the size you are. Looking forward to working with you. Regards, (...)."
Und hier ist die 3. Mail, wo dann auch die 200 Dollar angesprochen werden:
"First this is a very important life changing opportunity and you should know that a lot of people get into modeling because they think that they’re good looking. Beyond that, they don’t think much about the job. It takes much more than being gorgeous to be a model. It takes a real understanding of what a model’s job is. At least in the commercial world, a model’s job is to sell a product. Whether it’s jeans, perfume, jewelry, cars, cell phones, pencils, or whatever, a model is only there because they are promoting the product. When you’re doing commercial modeling work, you should not be thinking, “How can I look better?” Rather, you should be thinking, “How can I make this product look better?” Don’t be afraid to share your ideas and make suggestions about poses and angles. HERE ARE OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS All Details Must be kept confidential and NOT to be disclosed to anyone in other to avoid piracy of product and services. As we would give you the details on how the clothing you shall be wearing was made and manufactured, they are all brand new style. 1. You will receive a contract to guarantee you the job and secure your acceptance, as soon as you agreed to the terms and conditions hereunder. 2. We do not deduct any fee from your earnings as we would not be your permanent Agency, we are hiring you for this Project alone, and if you wish to join us after the shoot, you should notify us. 3.
